CM KCR to use Andhra port for exports, sends proposal to Andhra
The government has already sent proposals to AP government to this effect
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday said that the state government is planning to utilise the services of the Bandar port at Machilipatnam, in Andhra Pradesh, for exports since Telangana has no coast or ports.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he said the government has already sent proposals to AP government to this effect.
He added that he even made a personal request to AP government on this issue when he met AP Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu in Raj Bhavan.
