Sushant Singh Rajput got lucky bagging a role in Raj Kumar Hirani’s film PK just after his debut in Kai Po Che. While lots of actors clamour for a part in a Hirani project, it was Sushant who was the lucky one, and that too so early in his career.
In fact, Sushant who is paired with Anushka Sharma in the film has garnered a lot of positive feedback for the song Char Kadam, which features him and the actress, and was released earlier this week.
However, Sushant’s role is being credited as a “special appearance” in the film. The reason? Apparently it’s not a full-fledged role and according to sources, Sushant asked Raju if he could be credited accordingly.
The story goes that when Sushant was approached for this role, he wasn’t too keen to take it up because the role was too short.
However, close friends advised him that in a Raj Kumar Hirani movie, none of the characters go unnoticed as they’re very detailed.
Eventually, Sushant decided to take it up, and considering the response to Char Kadam, it was a good judgment call.
Despite being billed as a special appearance, Sushant plays one of the key roles in the movie.
