“Wait and watch” seems to be the mantra adopted by the younger generation of actors. After Parineeti Chopra opted to wait for the right scripts rather than accept any monotonous offer that came her way, we hear that Arjun Kapoor too is following suit.
Word is that Arjun wants to eschew a policy of signing films that’ll keep him in the limelight, waiting instead, for meaty projects that will win him kudos and stretch his abilities as an actor.
According to Arjun’s uncle Sanjay Kapoor, Arjun wants to work on selective films and a range of characters.
“Doing one film at a time is the most sensible step that Arjun and his peers have adopted. They’re successful actors and have a certain fan following.
It’s better to wait for the right script to come up, to sustain their popularity and commercial viability,” says Sanjay.
After idolising Salman, it seems Arjun is following the trend set by Aamir Khan years ago.
