Parents of a 14-year-old boy lodged complaint with Bhavanipuram police
Fourth kid reported missing in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: One more case of a missing child has come to light in Vijayawada after the parents of a 14-year-old boy lodged a complaint with the Bhavanipuram police on Tuesday.
This is the fourth such missing case over the last 20 days and none of the children have been found so far.
P. Krishnavamsi, living at Sitara centre under the Bhavanipuram police station limits, went out on Sunday afternoon to play cricket at Pantakalava Road near his house. However, he did not return home till late in the night, following which, parents and relatives started searching for him.
After coming to know that similar missing cases had been reported from other parts of the city, Krishnavamsi’s parents suspected that he could have been kidnap. They approached the police and lodged complaint on Tuesday morning.
Parents found his cycle near a canal. Police suspects that he might have gone for a swim. Meanwhile, three other children who were also reported missing, have still not been found.
