Mumbai: After ‘The Shaukeens’, it looks like Akshay Kumar is ready to essay the role of a magician in the biopic of late magician PC Sorcar which is being scripted by Soumik Sen.
According to a report in Mid-day, the actor gave his thumbs up to be a part of the project. Writer/director Soumik Sen is very pleased with the news as he was keen on having one of the top Bollywood actors in his film.
The late magician son’s PC Sorcar Junior has also given the green light for the project.
PC Sorcar was an international magician who rose to fame in the mid-30s for his famous performances in different countries including Japan.
On the work front, Akshay has a number of films lined up for 2015, including 'Brothers', which is the Hindi remake of 'Warrior'.
