New land policy after CM’s tour

The state government is planning to start Dwcra Bazaars soon in all 13 districts

Guntur: Minister for agriculture P. Pulla Rao has announced that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is going to announce land pooling policy of the state for new capital in detail after his return from his ongoing Japan tour. Mr Pulla Rao inaugurated the Dwacra Bazaar in Guntur on Sunday.

He said that the policy would be farmer friendly clearing all doubts of the people of the land pooling villages and they would go to farmers with that policy seeking lands for new capital.

The minister said that there is a good demand for the food and other products of Andhra Dwcra groups in New Delhi, Hyderabad and other areas.

He said that the state government is planning to start Dwcra Bazaars soon in all 13 districts of the state to promote Dwcra products.

He said that the government is adhered for women empowerment hence allotted sand reaches to women’s groups to provide financial benefit. He added that there are 160 sand reaches in 13 districts of the state and soon the number would be increased to 200.

Mr Pulla Rao said that Kondapalli toys, cotton cloth wear, native food stuff, herbal products and other domestic products are available in the Dwcra Bazaar and asked the public to promote the Bazaar. District collector, Kantilal Dande, DRDA project director, P Prasanthi, Guntur revenue divisional officer, Bhaskar Naidu and others participated in the programme.
