I don’t belong to any camp, neither am I trying to create one: Prabhu Deva

Prabhu Deva is one of the most sought after filmmakers in Bollywood today, one of the few names who seems to have got the Midas touch when it comes to box office success. While he has worked with quite a few heroes in his films, he seems to have stayed consistent with Sonakshi Sinha.

Several top-notch actresses are keen to work with Prabhu but the filmmaker seems to have the eyes for Sona and Sona alone. So is this a sign of a new camp?

“I work with actors who suit the character of my films. Comfort level is another aspect. I don’t belong to any camp, neither am I trying to create one. If people think that Sonakshi Sinha is my lucky mascot then so be it. So long as it works for my films and my actors I don’t think I have reason to complain,” says the choreographer-turned-filmmaker.

Prabhu feels that every filmmaker has his or her own style. “Dancing is my passion and I have to highlight that in my films. I have an audience that looks forward to my style of choreography,” he adds.
