BHEL residents requesting the Hyderabad Government for extension of Metro Railway

Passengers are often at the mercy of autorickshaw drivers who exploit the situation

Hyderabad: The missing Metro link is not only being felt by L.B. Nagar residents but also by BHEL residents who are complaining about the fact that the Metro Rail is not extending beyond Miyapur.

Residents of BHEL colony have also petitioned to the state stating that the Metro must be extended so that they too can then utilize the services.

Mr Sanjay Sarang, a software professional said, “The buses stop at the outskirts and the authorities should have kept the people in mind who travel to the city.

Passengers are often at the mercy of autorickshaw drivers who exploit the situation. Hence a little further would have solved a lot of problems.”

With the Metro connecting to these two points, people are now hoping that the new plans will also accommodate their demands and stretches will not be left out.
