Notice to Venkatesh Babu’s tenant

Lessee violated building by-laws; not a major deviation: Suresh
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation authorities of Circle 10 have issued a notice to a restaurant located at Film Nagar, Phase 1, Jubilee Hills, in a building owned by Tollywood actor D. Venkatesh Babu.
The property has been leased out to one Munna United Hospitality Services, where the restaurant has come up. The GHMC officials stated that the lease owner had deviated from the plan and was constructing a shed without permission. Officials have given the party 10 days to apply for the necessary permissions for the alterations made on the premises.
Somraj, Circle 10 deputy commissioner, said, “The alteration is violating the building by-laws and zoning regulations. The party has been given 10 days to seek permission and if the party does not respond, under Section 452 (2) of the HMC Act, the alterations can be knocked down.”
In an official press release, Venkatesh stated that the property had been leased out to Munna United Hospitality Services from September 2014.
Speaking to DC, the actor’s brother Suresh Babu said, “The property is owned by Venkatesh, but he vacated it close to 10 years ago. It has been on lease since then. All the regulations have been followed including on-time payment of property tax.
The lease owner was issued noticed and given time to approach the GHMC; It is not a major deviation but a shed that has been made for parking.”
