MLAs suspended for protesting defections into TRS threatened CM to Supreme court

Hyderabad: Thirteen Congress MLAs who were suspended for a day on Tuesday for protesting defections into the TRS, have threatened to drag Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to the Supreme Court for “brazenly encouraging defections from other parties.”
Congress Legislature Party secretary Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said if the Governor and Speaker failed to act to prevent defections, they would approach the President.
“If they fail to act, we will be left with no option but to knock on the doors of the Supreme Court,” he said. He alleged that Mr Rao was openly encouraging defections.
