Hyderabad: The All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen on Saturday demanded that Maharashtra government and the Centre to conduct CBI probe into killing of a three member Dalit family, in Ahmednagar district, of Maharashtra.
Asaduddin Owaisi, president of the party and Hyderabad MP, on Saturday visited Javkhede Khalsa village of the district where Sanjay Jadhav, his wife Jaisree and their teenage son Sunil were brutally murdered.
He met the family members of Jadhav and expressed his solidarity and said that his party will stand behind the family till justice is done to them and guilty to be punished.He said it is not a first case where Dalits have been targeted.
Ahmednagar district has witnessed many such incidents over the past few months. Mr Owaisi said, “We will raise this issue in the winter sessions of Parliament as well as Maharashtra Assembly.”
