Hyderabad: A 43-year-old college lecturer ended her life at Saidabad apparently depressed over family problems.
Ms C. Sunitha Reddy, an HoD at Sri Indu Engineering College, was found hanging in her bedroom on Thursday morning. Police found a suicide note saying that she did not want to live as she was feeling lonely despite having a family.
Police said that Sunitha sent her daughter for tuition and went to her room while her husband was downstairs. “Later, the family found that she was hanging from the ceiling. She hanged herself using a rope from the fan,” said SI B. Parame-swar.
Sunitha’s husband Praveen Reddy is an official with the Railways. “The family told us that there were no major issues in her life, but she was depressed of late. The note said that she did not want to blame anyone for her suicide,” said SI Parameswar.
