Farmers ended their lives due to financial crisis

Nizamabad: The number of farmers, who committed suicide, rose to 31 only in Nizamabad district, but the district administration did not notify it. However, police records reveal that the farmers ended their lives due to financial crisis.
A source in the agriculture department said that there is no machinery to ascertain the actual reasons for the suicide of the farmers. Hence, chances are there on part of the families to report all suicides under agrarian crisis.
In absence of factual reports, the district administration did not report any, he added.
