After A.R. Rahman, Javed Akhtar is the next big name to be associated with Ashutosh Gowarikar’s television show Everest.
The director wanted Akhtar to pen inspirational lyrics for the story of 21-year-old Anjali who wants to scale the Everest in order to find a place in her father’s heart.
“Ashutosh met Javed saab to give him a brief about the show and he agreed almost instantly. The song has now been recorded too,” says a source.
