Counselling notice likely to be issued by next week

Hyderabad: Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman T. Papi Reddy said notification for the special phase of Eamcet counselling will be issued on Monday or Tuesday, even as government officials claimed no decision has been taken on the issue. Meanwhile, engineering colleges got into a huddle on Saturday and requested both governments to resolve the issue and issue notification for counselling at the earliest.

Prof. Papi Reddy said that the AP State Council of Higher Education had no role in the counselling for the 174 engineering colleges. “We will issue notification by Monday or Tuesday. We are the only competent authority to conduct counselling and we will do it.”
