London: Actress Gwyneth Paltrow praised her estranged husband Chris Martin by calling him father of the year, days after he broke up with Jennifer Lawrence.
Paltrow, 42, was hosting the AmfAR gala in LA on Wednesday when she introduced him on the stage, reported the Daily Mirror.
"This brilliant singer-songwriter has sold 8 million records. He has won every single award that there is to be won, especially 'Father of the Year', which he has won consecutively since 2004," Paltrow told the crowd.
Martin, 37, apparently split from Lawrence, 24, after dating four months, over his close relationship with Paltrow.
