Rishi Kapoor who was diagnosed with malaria, will be discharged today

The actor admitted to Lilavati hospital is said to be recovering quickly

Mumbai: Actor Rishi Kapoor has been hospitalised for dengue and malaria, according to a spokesperson of the Lilavati Hospital at suburban Bandra West. According to several reports, the actor who is better now is likely to be discharged today.

"Rishi Kapoor is undergoing treatment for dengue and malaria," a Lilavati Hospital spokesperson told PTI. The 62-year-old actor was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital yesterday after he was diagnosed with dengue and malaria, the spokesperson said.

On work front, Rishi was last seen in Sonam Kapoor-Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Bewakoofiyaan', where he played the role of a doting father to the actress. He is prepping up for his release next year, ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ which also stars Paresh Rawal.
