Producer Salman Khan felt the remake would be incomplete without the stars' appearance

Mumbai: Jackie Shroff who marked the beginning of his career with ‘Hero’ is now been cast in the remake helmed by Nikhil Advani. The film also stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
However, Jackie who played the hero in the original film will be playing the bad man, Pasha in this one.
According to reports, Producer Salman Khan felt that the remake will be incomplete without Jackie making an appearance. When he approached the Director with this idea, Nikhil approved the thought.
Jackie will start shooting for the 20 day schedule soon.
