Aamir’s brother returns to films after nine years

Faissal’s comeback film titled Chinar — Daastaan-E-Ishq is similar to Haider

Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal (now Faissal) who made his debut with Mela and even had a much talked-about fallout with Aamir at that time, is returning to films after nine long years.
What’s interesting about this comeback is the timing of the announcement that is coinciding with the heavy promotions of Aamir’s film PK. That’s not all. An industry insider points out saying, “Faissal’s comeback film titled Chinar — Daastaan-E-Ishq also shares certain similarities with the Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider. Chinar — Daastaan-E-Ishq is based on a very popular Urdu novelist Khwaja Farooq Ranzu Shah’s Jheel Jalti Hai. Like Haider, this film too will be shot in Kashmir and is also inspired by Hamlet to some extent.”
Will Aamir support his brother’s comeback this time around? Let’s wait and watch.
