NorthEast United FC avoid defeat; Boro, Del Piero, Mulder stand out

New Delhi: NorthEast United FC held hosts Delhi Dynamos 0-0 in their away tie here on Wednesday. Both sides created enough chances but lacked finish. But the spectators witnessed relentless energy in the middle.

2: Durga Boro shoots, but the ball is way beyond the target. The Highlanders have kept the ball in the Delhi Dynamos after kick-off.
7: Arias pushes Boro, referee says free kick. Fans aren't happy.
9: Hans Mulder downs Kondwani Mtonga in a midfield tussle, bringing the latter down.
13: Del Piero shoots, but goes off target. But he sends a message across to the NorthEast United bench.
17: Mads Junker misses the net after being supplied with a brilliant pass that resulted from a free kick.
18: Del Piero tries to swing the ball in, but it was a long range.
22: James Keene has a shot on target, but fails to keep control and lacks power. But it was a fantastic long pass. Oh! The referee says it's offside.
28: Del Piero's dummy move downs Sambou.
33: The Italian is showing off his skills, and looking for the goal. He passes to Mulder but Rehenesh comes out and clears the danger.
35: Junker tries a flying Dutch header from a Steven Dias pass, remember Robin van Persie's goal against Spain? Not only does the ball go off target but the offside flag is up.
41: YELLOW CARD for Tomas Josl. He goes down in the box after chasing a de Crasto ball. He is booked for simulation.
HALF-TIME
49: Boro shoots, the ball was off target but the keeper has a hand to it. Corner. The Highlanders are hungry for a goal now.
54: Junker almost finds the net but the offside flag goes up. Both teams look charged up.
