Hyderabad: A 29-year-old techie was caught red-handed while he was filming a girl taking bath in a house at Humayunnagar.
P.V.K. Dinesh, the accused, was visiting his relatives at Vindhyachal Apartment in Ashurkhana Line. On Tuesday morning, while he was out for a morning walk, he heard the noise of water splashing in the neighbour’s bathroom.
He then peeped in from the ventilator and switched on his mobile phone camera to record the victim take a bath. According to Humayunnagar police inspector S. Ravinder, Dinesh came to his relative’s flat on Monday.
“On Tuesday morning, while he was walking along the corridor, he figured out that someone was taking a bath in the neighbour’s house and peeped in. He started recording the victim using his mobile phone camera. However, the girl soon spotted him and screamed to alert her family members,” said the inspector.
Her family members nabbed Dinesh and called the police. The police has booked a case against him for outraging a woman’s modesty. Dinesh, who lives in Gachibowli, had recently returned from the US after quitting his job. He has been searching for a job in Hyderabad. Now, he has been remanded by the court.
