Singer-fashion designer Victoria Beckham has been named Britain’s most successful entrepreneur after seeing her fashion empire grow over the last five years. The 40-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer has topped a list of over 100 business people after seeing her fashion empire’s turnover rise from £1 million to a staggering £30 million in just five years, with her staff growing from three employees to 100, reported Contactmusic.

“She’s got a real business, some design talent and of course, the right knowledge. She gets a lot of flak for being a celeb fashionista but I don’t think that’s fair,” a source said. The magazine considered factors such as number of jobs created, overall estimated wealth and sales figures over a five-year period in compiling the list.
