Suriya in an action drama

After the Tamil Film Attakathi, director Ranjith delivered a box office hit with Karthi. Speculation is rife about his next film that Pa. Ranjith will be joining hands with Suriya, Karthi’s brother, for his next, and that the shoot of the film will begin once he (Suriya), completes all his earlier commitments.

Rumour has it that the film will be a romantic love story, which, like all rumours, ended up having no basis, for, according to Ranjith, “Everything is finalised now. I am teaming up with Suriya for my next film, which will be produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. It’s a complete action-drama, which is totally different from Madras. This time, Chennai won’t be my film’s backdrop.”
