The chilly weather conditions are due to inflow of winds from North India, which are being pulled by the deep depression system developing in Arabian Sea.

The depression might further turn into a cyclone, which is moving towards Oman.

IMD has forecast heavy rains in Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad in Telangana in the next 48 hours.
