Bengaluru: KPCC president, Dr G. Parameshwar on Sunday declared that they (Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and himself) had completed the process of selecting candidates for more than 80 state run boards and corporations in the state.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle after his meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a private hotel here, Parameshwar said, "From our side we have completed the process of selecting candidates based on their contributions to the party and keeping social justice in mind, but our prepared list needs to be ratified by party central leaders."
He added that both leaders were leaving for Delhi on October 30, where ‘their list’ will be discussed with AICC general secretary, Digvijay Singh.
"There was no difference of opinion over preparing this list as we both wanted to complete this exercise as soon as possible. We have mostly recommended single names but in some ‘exceptional cases’ we have recommended two names," he claimed.
