Mumbai: Don’t be surprised if you soon hear Ranveer Singh addressing co-star Parineeti Chopra as “guruji”.
The actor has been taking lessons in singing from Pari who is a trained singer.
A source close to the actor reveals, “Ranveer has learned sa re ga ma on the sets from co-stars Ali Zafar and Parineeti. While Parineeti is a trained singer, Ali began his career as a singer. Among the trio, it was only Ranveer who didn’t know how to sing. So, he being a non-singer was highly intrigued by Pari and Ali’s singing skills. And in between shots they both taught him some sargam on the sets. This is the first time that Ranveer has learnt the nuances of singing. Even though he has always loved and enjoyed music, and has even tried his hand at rapping, he was always very keen to learn the basics.”
