Chennai: It’s time for all of us to get ready for the tunes of the Maestro’s 1000th film on which he has just completed work and handed over the master copy to director Bala for the film Thaara Thappattai. This is being keenly looked forward to as it was composed, using live orchestration and instruments.
Sources also say that the entire team is planning to have a grand audio launch as it’s the Maestro’s 1000th film. The film is based on folk dance, Karakattam, and has Varalaxmi and Sasikumar in the lead.
What’s interesting is that Ilaiyaraaja’s next film is with none other than S.A Chandresekar for his dream project, Touring Talkies. We also hear that Ilaiyaraaja has finished recording for it.
