Nicole feels shattered after father’s death

Actress Nicole Kidman admits she and her family feel “shattered” following the sudden death of her father Dr Antony Kidman last month.The 47-year-old actress has been trying to paint on a brave face after her father tragically died on September 12 but she admits she and her relatives are still struggling to come to terms with it, reportedly.“We’re pretty shattered right now. Nobody can prepare you for it. It was awful. It’s been a pretty rocky road for the past month,” she said.

Dr Antony was laid to rest at St Francis Xavier Church in Lavender Bay, Sydney, on September 19 and Kidman said that place of worship was chosen because it holds many memories for herself and her loved-ones. “A lot of the huge landmarks in my life have happened there. My wedding, my father’s funeral, all my childhood, obviously.”
