NIA, summoned 3 people from Chennai for interrogation in the case

Bengaluru/ New delhi: The NIA and Central intelligence agencies have now categorically ruled out any al-Qaeda or Islamic State role behind the Burdwan blasts that claimed the lives of two alleged terrorists and suspected members of Jamaat ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh. Meanwhile, it is suspected that Ali Baqr Siddique, the fugitive terror suspect of banned Tamil Nadu-based militant outfit Al Umma, was associated with the blast. The NIA, on Tuesday summoned three people from Chennai for interrogation in the case, said NIA sources.
