Abhishek Bachchan to purchase rights of autobiography to make Yuvraj Singh biopic

Mumbai: In a press meet during the Pro Kabbadi league in July this year, Jaipur Pink Panthers owner and actor Abhishek Bachchan expressed his keen interest on making and starring in a biopic based on the life of cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, the ‘Happy New Year’ actor revealed that he will be meeting the cricketer soon to discuss the movie and seriously take it forward. He added that he is very interested in buying the rights of Yuvraj Singh’s autobiography titled ‘The Test of My Life’ and finding a suitable actor to play the role.

Abhishek was deeply concerned with the number films on sports personalities in the industry, and believes that Yuvraj’s story is very interesting and must be told.
