Demand for office space in Hyderabad to rise

Deloitte has recently acquired two million sq ft of area in the city
Hyderabad: Hyderabad is on its way to shed its underperformer status in leasing out office space, if investment management firm JLL is to be believed.
Speaking on the sidelines of announcement of TREDA’s property show, JLL Hyderabad MD Sandip Patnaik said, “The leasing out of commercial office space in Hyderabad stood at 4.3 to 4.4 million sft in 2013 while its counterparts like Bengaluru leases out 10-12 million sft of office space every year.”
“However, with the new government coming in, things are changing for the good. Deloitte has recently acquired two million sft of area in the city. Other companies are also following the suite,” he added.
The three-day property show, begining October 17, at Hitex will have builders showcasing 500 projects, interior designers, banks etc all under one roof.
