The who’s who of Bollywood and cricket are going all out to promote football in the country with Indian Super League. Abhishek Bachchan too is one of the major names involved. AB, who has just wound up celebrating the success of his Pro Kabbadi League, is juggling the promotions of his upcoming film Happy New Year and coming season of ISL.
We hear that Abhishek personally monitored the logo design of his ISL team. It took the team over a month to finalise the concept of a “nazar pattu” that is meant to ward off evil forces and bring good luck. Abhiskek says, “I think everyone knows that I love sports. The idea is to promote football and get the urban Indian youth to actively play the game with passion. The colour of the logo of my team is inspired from my favorite football team, Chelsea.”
With his film up for release and his team all set for the league tournament, Junior B seems to be having the best of both the worlds.
