Mumbai: After launching his first Indian superhero Chakra The Invincible the legendary Stan Lee is now hoping to have a Bollywood film based on the character as well.
Lee and his producing partners, Gill Champion from POW! Entertainment and Sharad Devarajan, CEO of Graphic India, have been meeting with leading Bollywood directors, producers and writers to adapt Chakra into a film. The plot will feature a grown-up version of the character.
“I’ve always been a fan of Bollywood films and I’m really excited about launching Chakra the Invincible as my first Bollywood superhero movie,” said Stan Lee, in a statement released on Friday.
“We’ve set up some meetings already with some talented actors and directors.” Stan also revealed the first set of concept images of the new older-version of Chakra on social media on Friday.
