MLAs travel in ambulance

They get caught in traffic on way to welcome K Chandrasekhar Rao
Adilabad: Three TRS MLAs Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Koneru Konappa and Durgam Chinnaiah of Adilabad district, who got caught up in a traffic snarl at Hatti base camp, did an adventure by travelling in the back cabin of an old ambulance for nearly 21 km in the jungles to accord a warm welcome to their party president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao landing at Jodeghat on Wednesday afternoon.
The MLAs squeezed themselves in the small cabin at the rear side of the old ambulance, leaving their spacious vehicles.Durgam Chinnaiah personally tired to clear the traffic snarl but he could not as there was no supervision of the respective departments. The MLAs took the ‘risk’ of travelling in the ambulance to avoid delay in reaching to Jodeghat as they got information that the CM’s helicoptertook off from Begumpet and will land at Jodeghat soon.
The MLAs personal vehicles in which they were travelling caught in the traffic jam when they reached Hatti base camp. They got into the ambulance and adjusted themselves in the small space while the paramedical staff sat in the front side and gunmen of the three MLAs clung to the rear side of the ambulance.
The trio got into the ambulance thinking all other vehicles would give way to the vehicle which runs on emergency so that reach their destination on time. They travellled for nearly 21 km in the vehicle and managed to reach their destination just before the Chief Minister’s chopper landed at 12.55 pm. MLA Konappa said he travelled in the congested place despite having a severe back pain.
