Shiv Sena: Prime Minister ignoring his work

Sena said that PM Modi could have asked the people to vote for BJP by sitting in Delhi itself

Mumbai: Shiv Sena has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign in its mouthpiece Saamana and and alleged that the PM doesn’t have mass appeal among the voters. The editorial says that if Mr Modi had even an iota of appeal among people he could have asked the people to vote for BJP sitting in Delhi, like Balasaheb Thackeray stopped rogue elements from disrupting the Amarnath yatra while sitting in Mumbai.

Condemning Mr Modi for abandoning his work in Delhi to attend rallies in Maharashtra, the column said, “The Prime Minister is busy addressing rallies in Maharashtra leaving his work in Delhi. He is a tall leader of the BJP, but he has been forced to campaign in the state since the BJP has no known faces in Maharashtra.”
