Rs 3 crore for Bijgir Sharif Dargah

The money will be used to give face lift to the famous dargah
Karimnagar: Finance and civil supplies minister Etela Rajender promised that Rs3 crore would be released by the tourism department to give a facelift to the famous Hazarah Inkeshah wali Rahamatullah Ali’s Dargah at Bijgir Sharif village in Jammikunta mandal. He offered special prayers at the Dargah on Tuesday.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said he would try to make it an important pilgrim centre.
He said he would direct the tourism officials to release Rs3 crore for the renovation and facelift of the Dargah. He also said he would ensure release of more funds for the development of the structure.
The minister presented a chadar at the Hazarah Inkeshah wali Rahamatullah Ali ‘s tomb located inside the Dargah. Earlier, Mr Rajender was accorded a grand welcome by the priests of the Dargah. He was accompanied by Jammikunta MPP G. Latha, Bijgir Sharif sarpanch K. Ravinder Reddy and others. The minsiter said that the TRS government was committed to the development of tourism industry in the state.
