Karan Johar to bring the life of hockey player Dhyan Chand on big screen

Mumbai: Karan Johar, Pooja Shetty and Aarti Shetty have come together to show the world on big screen, the life of legendary hockey player, Dhyan Chand. Films on sportsmen is a difficult challenge the tri has readily accepted.

Dhyan Chand is the greatest hockey player, who represented India against various giants of the world. He had unmatched dribble skills and has scored more than 400 goals, making India an unbeatable team during the late 1930.

Recent films like 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Mary Kom' have done really well bringing out the untold stories of sport personalities who made our country proud.

The announcement of the cast and director will be announced soon. According to reports the script will be written by 'Agneepath' writer Ila Bedi Dutta and they have already approached Ranbir Kapoor to play the title role.

Aarti and Pooja are daughter of Manmohan Shetty and run a production house, Walkwater Media Ltd.
