Hyderabad: Akkineni Nagarjuna is a happy father. His older son Naga Chaitanya’s film career is doing well and his younger son Akhil is making him proud, even before making his film debut. Akhil acted in an advertisement and surprised everybody with his performance. And dad Nagarjuna couldn’t stop praising him after he watched the advertisement.
“Akhil’s first ever ad/proud of you my son,” he tweeted. Akhil appeared in a watch commercial along with Kalki Koechlin and he looks promising in the promo.
Many celebrities tweeted about Akhil. The young actor is all set to make his debut in films soon. He officially made his entry with Manam where he played a cameo. The film was his first and his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s last.
There are high expectations from his debut film as a lead actor. There are a few names doing the rounds about the director. A source close to Annapurna Studios reveals that Nagarjuna is reading scripts for Akhil’s debut movie and a formal announcement will be made about the film once everything is finalised.
