Virat Kohli has been enjoying a much-needed break from cricket
Bengaluru: With his team Royal Challengers Bangalore, not featuring in the ongoing Champions League, Virat Kohli has been enjoying a much-needed break from cricket over the last few weeks.
With the 39-day home series against West Indies starting on October 8, Kohli, along with Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu and pacers Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma checked into the National Cricket Academy here for training on Monday.
West Indies, who play two warm-up games against India ‘A’ in Mumbai on October 3 and 5, will play the first one-dayer against Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men at Kochi on October 8. The five ODIs and a standalone T20 game, will be followed by Tests at Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
