Mumbai: Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, who are gearing up to commence the shoot of their film directed by Rohit Dhawan, have been asked to bulk up. Both the actors have been shooting for other films and haven’t been able to focus on their fitness regime. Perhaps that’s the reason Rohit decided to set up a gym in the vicinity of the studio. The idea is to make it convenient for both John and Varun to workout with their respective trainers in between shots.
“Varun’s brother is going out of his way to make things easier for him. And since Rohit worked with John in his directorial debut Desi Boyz, they’re friends too. The film requires them to sport a certain physique and both the actors will be making optimum use of the facility,” says a unit member.
John will be simultaneously shooting for Sanjay Gupta’s Jazba. “Rohit’s film and Sanjay’s film require different looks. Rohit’s film is out and out action film, while Jazba has John in a more intense role. Shooting for two films together can be quite a task. Rohit’s effort in setting up an in-house gym will help them manage time,” says a close source.
