Revealed: How to deal with heartbreaks

Remembering bad experiences could send people into a downwards spiral

London: A new research has revealed that a couple of aspirin and distancing themselves from the event can help one to come over their heartbreaks.

Walter Mischel, a US psychologist has claimed that remembering their bad experiences could send people into a downwards spiral, the Guardian reported.

He said that common wisdom suggested that if people thoroughly revisited their negative experiences to try to understand why they happened, they would eventually be able to move on.

Mischel added that each time people recounted the experience to themselves, their friends or their therapist, they only become more depressed.
