Chiranjeevi ridicules Telugu Desam rule

Obstruct Janmaboomi programme, partymen told
Bhimavaram: Former Union minister and Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi lashed out at the Telugu Desam government and the chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Chandrababu whiled away the 100 days by going to New Delhi and prostrating in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor Pawan Kalyan. Participating as a chief guest in Congress workers meeting at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district on Saturday, Chiranjeevi said that Chandrababu Naidu had not done any thing in constructive for the people during his 100 days governance. However, he and TD leaders celebrated 100 days celebrations without any achievement.
“There was nothing great about Chandrababu's rule. Once film crosses 100 days, it means it is the end for it. Nobody bothers about a film after 100 days. So we can conclude that nobody will take Chandrababu Na-idu serious in future,” he commented. He lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu saying that he had not fulfilled any promise he had made during the elections. He said that Chandrababu or the TD ministers have no right to criticize Congress rule for his failure.
He said that Chandra Babu had let down the people of the state, he said. He also said that the Telugu Desam was still cheating some sections of the society like Kapu, BCs, SCs, STs and Brahmins by making false promises. Coming down heavily on the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, Chiranjeevi said that the 100 day governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi proved it inefficiency in ruling.
He alleged that Modi's government wants to do away with the NREGS scheme soon. He found fault with the FDI in public sector units. Speaking on the occasion Pradesh Congress Committee chief N. Raghuveera Reddy called upon the Congress workers to obstruct Janmabhoomi programmes in Grama Sabhas for failures of TD governance. He said that the TD has taken up power by making many promises like loan waiver for farmers and Self Help Groups and others. Now, the government is escaping from fulfilling those promises.
He said that a high level Congress delegation would visit Polavaram project site and mount pressure on the TD government for completing the project within three years. He said that it was Congress government that took up the project during its rule.
