Cara Delevingne lands female lead role in 'Paper Towns'

The model's audition blew everyone away said the producers

Los Angeles: British supermodel Cara Delevingne is in talks to co-star with Nat Wolff in the film adaptation of John Green's 'Paper Towns'. The young adult film to be directed by Jake Schreier is a
story about young neighbours who share the jarring experience of finding the body of a man who committed suicide, reported Variety.

Green, who also wrote 'The Fault In Our Stars,' confirmed the casting news of the 22-year-old supermodel via Twitter,

"Cara Delevingne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!" Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing the movie.

Scott Neustadter and Michael H Weber (who also adapted Green's 'The Fault in Our Stars') are writing the script. After the success of 'Stars', which grossed USD 280 million worldwide, Fox is hopeful fans will have an appetite for another complex young adult love story.

Fox 2000 seems to want to stay in business with the model-turned-actress, as she is also in talks to star in its Beach Boys inspired 'All Summer Long.'

She most recently wrapped production on the Warner Bros film 'Pan'.
