Farah Khan is very impressed with Vivaan Shah

Mumbai: We hear that director Farah Khan is very impressed with young actor Vivaan Shah’s work in Happy New Year. She has taken Vivaan (Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah’s younger son) under her wing as Farah believes that he will be the surprise package of the film.

That isn’t all. She even sent personalised notes to his parents, thanking them for trusting her with Vivaan’s second film (after 7 Khoon Maaf). When we asked Naseeruddin Shah to confirm the same, the veteran actor said, “Yes, Farah is happy and sent me a message saying that he has done well in the film.

We stayed completely out of Vivaan’s audition process. We wanted him to get the role because of his talent, not because of his parents. I visited the sets just once to spend a few moments with him.”
