Lucknow: A semi-naked girl sent shock waves in the state capital when she was seen running on the road calling for help on Friday night. Some people came to her help, covered her with clothes and informed the police.
The girl told the police that she had been forced into flesh trade by her stepmother and had run away from home to save herself.
Her parents have filed a missing person report with the police in Gorakhpur. The girl took a train to Lucknow and had been staying on the streets.
On Friday, a group of men asked her to accompany them and they would take her to a protective home. She was then taken to an abandoned house where she was forced to consume alcohol and given some drugs and then sexually assaulted by the men in turns.
