My assistant is my closest punching bag: Katy Perry

Singer Katy Perry has revealed her assistant often feels the brunt of her bad moods.Perry, 29, says her assistant, Tamra, becomes her punching bag, on the days she is stressed, reported Contactmusic. “I am quieter (on such days). I can snap a little bit, be a little bitchy to the couple of people around me. Tamra, my assistant, is my closest punching bag,” she said.

“But she’s strong and understands that I have a lot of pressure on me sometimes,” the Roar singer said.

Perry has been in therapy and meditates five or six times a week, she informed, and considers a cigarette every four or six months to be acting out.

“I’ll have a cigarette, which I know is absolutely horrible for me, after a few drinks when I’m having a week off,” she said. “I don't do black tar heroin.”In 2011, Katy and Russell Brand ended their 14-month-old marriage. Talking about it, the singer recently termed the divorce as “emotionally traumatic” for her. “It was the death of a dream. I was in fairy-tale land, and the reality of it wasn't so,” she said.
