Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan agree to probe rigging

Both parties are still disagreeing over extent of authority
Islamabad: The government and the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf on Wednesday agreed to form a judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging in 2013 elections but the disagreement over extent of authority still remains.Formation of the judicial commission is mandatory within seven days of signing the agreement, said a government official.
“It was also decided that the commission report will be made public within 45 days. If judicial commission proves the rigging, Prime Minister is to dissolve the assemblies.” the deal says.
