BJP, Congress leaders criticise Telangana CM KCR

Opposition criticise KCR on his 100 day government in the state
Hyderabad: The coincidence of 100- day rule of the TRS came in handy for the Opposition Congress, BJP and TD to raise their pitch of criticism against the ruling establishment especially on the eve of Medak Lok Sabha bypoll slated for voting on September 13.
All the three Opposition parties since Tuesday started strong criticism on the ruling party for its failures on so many fronts, particularly on the issue of farmers loan waiver and shortage of power, keeping in mind both the issues are being dominated in the bypoll campaign.
BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy on Wednesday released an open letter addressed by him to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, slamming the performance of the government headed by him on almost all fronts.
Accusing the Chief Minister of fearing a coup inside the party, Mr Kishan Reddy said that was the reason behind Chandrasekhar Rao starting to concentrate more on his strengths to lure MLAs from other parties instead of taking care of the administration.
Meanwhile TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah has called Congress cadres across the state to stage dharnas in front of district collectorates on September 12 (a day before Medak polling) in protest against the TRS government failure to provide the relief through loan waiver scheme and also shortage of power in almost all villages in the state.
He said farmers used to lead a happy and respectable life during the previous Congress rule and now they are the most affected lot facing severe crisis due to shortage of power and agricultural indebitness. “When 165 farmers have committed suicide during the last 100 days, it is sickening to note that Chief Minister is spending a lot of time visiting Singapore, reviewing new police vehicles and rose flower shows,” Mr Lakshmaiah said.
