Ranveer works on his brand appeal

The actor has been personally monitoring his brand endorsements

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh has been around in the industry for four years now but he’s not too happy with his brand value in the ad world.

While his contemporaries have been aggressively focusing on getting more ads, Ranveer admits that he is lagging behind.

“The focus was to get a strong foothold in the industry by doing bigger and better films. Yes, as compared to other actors of his league, Ranveer hasn’t been big enough in terms of brand endorsements,” says a trade guru.

Maybe that’s why Ranveer has finally taken charge of fleshing out an image in the ad world.

Word is that he has been personally monitoring his ad films.

Some ad filmmakers, however, view the enthusiasm as interference.

“He is a creative guy. An actor of his level has the clout and the ability to give his inputs. If the idea is to enhance his own brand value, I don’t think that should be seen as interference. The idea after all is to work towards the betterment of the product’s image and his own image,” says a source close to the actor.
