Asaduddin Owaisi files defamation suits against Kashmir Observer

A report was carried out that Assduddin said that Indian Muslims to support Pak during war
Hyderabad: All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen party president Asaduddin Owaisi has filed defamation suits against the Srinagar-based newspaper Kashmir Observer, the Mumbai based Samna daily and the portal One India for carrying a news report tarnishing his image. Mr Owaisi, who represents Hyderabad in the LS, said he filed the suits before the 9 metropolitan magistrate court of Hyderabad city. He said the false reports were intended to spread hatred and to damage his reputation.
Mr Owaisi said the publishers carried the report based on a pamphlet which said that he called upon Indian Muslims to support Pakistan if the two countries went to war, which was purely baseless.
He pointed out that "if someone believes the nonsense in the pamphlet or the media and files a criminal case against me who will be held responsible for that."
He said that it was absolutely baseless propaganda and he wants to know who created the pamphlet. The MP said that he had also lodged complaints with the Hyderabad City Central Crime Station and Cyber Crime authorities to trace the persons behind the pamphlet.
Mr Owaisi said that his lawyer had already served legal notices to the publications.
